Anti-America
I am noticing lately that when I talk to people I am labeled as someone who hates America. This assumption is not accurate. I am an American citizen. For me to hate the place where I live, to me, seems less than smart. However, there is good reason I come off so anti-America. I do hate the idea of an overlord governmental system. I am fully aware of the need for government. However, I do not believe that any government has any business in individuals lives. I personally believe that the American people need to take ownership. The concept of self governing is a fantastic idea. It is needed. If everyone policed themselves, we could do with out all of the laws. Granted for this to work everyone in the entire United States of America would have to really have to become less reliant on the gorilla that is the government, and become much more reliant on one another. Moreover, on themselves. We as a society, and as a culture, need to start taking responsibility for our actions. I think it's insane that we (the we being the government and the country as a whole, not the citizens necessarily) attempt to police the rest of the world, when we cannot get our own shit in a figurative scoop. If I could I wish I could separate myself from the actions of this government. Start my own life. A life with out government. A life where the only authority I have to answer to is my own. And in this I do not mean I'm going to build a cabin in the woods and go on a crime spree. In fact it's the opposite. I want to live among everyone. Limit the amount of control that the government has. And preach not with words but actions. Actions that depict an ideal. The ideal of 'Self-Governing.' These ideas are far from new. I am in no way attempting to take credit for this idea. It probably has been around from the beginning of time. Ironically, it was there, on the minds of the forefathers. And now we are here. Depending on the government to take care of us. IT is not our mothers. IT is not our nurses. IT is not our friend. IT is a tool. A tool that we the people are supposed to crank. IT shouldn't crank us. When is the last time a screw driver used you to screw in a screw?
